How come California bans pocket bikes because they r considered cars? Why not make them go on bike lanes? - June 5, 2009 by ezview
Raccoon Wounds asked:

Pocket bikes are those minature motorcycles that go 10-30 mph. They are about 1-3ft tall and come in gas and electric. 1 liter of gas (or charged battery) could get you 45 miles or more. So far I have found only 1 pocket bike that can go to 65 mph. They are meant for riders that are 10 and above (must have good hand eye cordination). I live in Davis California and as you probably know we are developing the famous “flying car” at UCD. We all are considered “hippies” so we try to find a better way of transportation. Now Davis is the biking capital of the world, meaning we promote biking very much. I just need to know why? Anyway thank you for reading this!

Bike to work? - May 22, 2009 by ezview
biker2b asked:

I would like to start riding my bike to work, but the roads are less than prime condition. I mean, no shoulders or bike lanes and crazy drivers. Would this still be feasible? It’s only about 5 miles one way, but what sort of precautions should I take? I was also considering getting an electric bike because parts of the route are hilly, do these makes hills easier?
